Dear CBC Parents and Players,

We regret to inform you that both the Rugby and Hockey fixtures scheduled for Saturday, 7 June against Bryanston have been cancelled.

Bryanston has shared that, due to the upcoming exam period, a wave of illness, and many parents not permitting their children to attend training, they are unfortunately unable to field teams this weekend. Despite their best efforts to gather numbers – including sending out availability polls to their community – they were unable to secure the required player availability.

While we share in the disappointment, we appreciate the open communication from Bryanston and understand the difficult circumstances. These are always highly anticipated fixtures, and we look forward to rescheduling the matches for next year.
